SUE ANN LESSER, DVM, CVSMT

Sue Ann Lesser was graduated from  New York State College of Animal and Life Sciences at Cornell University in 1974 (BS with Distinction in Animal Sciences), the Pennsylvania State University in 1976 (MS in Physiology), and the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1980 (DVM).  She is a member of the AVMA, AAEP, and AHVMA.

She received her Certification in Animal Chiropractic from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 1991, her Advanced Certification in Animal Chiropractic from Options for Animals in 1996, and her Certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy in January, 2005 from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center. She taught for the AVCA/Options program from 1991-1996 and currently is an instructor at the Healing Oasis.

She has a mobile 100% Animal Chiropractic/ VSMT small animal practice that extends from Connecticut to Maryland. Her practice caters primarily to performance dogs. Her patients have included dogs on the World Agility Team (including the Gold Medal Team of 2001), competitors (and 1 winner) at the AKC Obedience National Competition,  multiple Flyball Masters and Champions, numerous performers at the Westminster Kennel Club (including two Best In Shows) and  three Freestyle Champions ( 1 from WCFO and 2 from CFF). 

Dr. Lesser is also a member of the Port Chester Obedience Club and the Canine Freestyle Federation and is a judge in training for the latter organization. She shows her Doberman Pinschers in Conformation, Obedience, Freestyle and Rally Obedience.
