This program is intended to expand on the basic information that is provided by the Veterinary Chiropractic and Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy Programs being offered to both DVM / VMD and DC’s.  Emphasis will be given to advanced neurology (local and supra-segmental control), ascending and descending pathways, hand-on of advanced techniques and the current advances on the vertebral subluxation complex (VSC).

The entire program will be presented at National University of Health Sciences facilities, located in Lombard, IL. (www.nuhs.edu)

Requirement: Each student must write two (2) clinical papers or thesis following a “publishing format”.  There will be a class to help the students with developing, researching, writing and presenting their findings.  During the first module, the speaker will discuss the what, how and when of scientific papers. By the second (2nd) module students will have to bring at least two topics for possible research; and by the third (3rd) module, each student must have the topic for their research and the references that they will be using. By the fifth module, they will have to present a “draft” of their research and all papers will have to be presented between the tenth (10th) and twelfth (12th) modules (unless otherwise amended). The format of this advanced program will allow it to build upon each other and to help the student utilize their own time to work upon achieving their case presentation / thesis
